And saying they are broke is inaccurate they usually say they are in the red or negatives which for them means I made 20k and spent 25k. They don’t do that every month so they aren’t actually broke. That said most of them are actually stupid, some don’t know how to budget, and a very small percentage live with their parents so there parents are keeping them from wasting money which means very good chance if they leave Hololive they’ll start blowing through their money even faster leading to them actually going broke or having to fall back on joining a new vtuber agency to make more money I mean for talent freedom. Being an adult is hard and it gets harder when you forget the value of a dollar.

Average MV is couple grand but some of them get high quality animation putting it at tens of thousands. The most expensive MV we know about is still Marine’s 3rd or 4th song, the one before treasure box, and Gura almost paid the same for a cover song she wanted to do. Streamers only make up to 60% of what they earn through merch and donations.
Corpo streamers earn even less because of countries taxes and because of corpo reserved slice. The rest (which is up to ~40%) is what streamer gets.

Depends how central you are, living in a city you really want to have a flat, especially with the incredible views they have on high floors in Tokyo. I think most people here would be happy in a flat. Some neighbourhoods (like Ueno) have the best of both worlds, city life with a house, but even there you feel so distant from the city despite being right in the heart of it.

Generally, when density is low, there's a reason. Density means many want to be there. Usually because it's wonderful.

Current cover HQ is in Minato for clout and investment (the one with merch shelf and sora stand) with some recording room. The old place is still used as studio + merch currently (the big L shape building that leak).
And the 20 billion (the one with signed wall) is somewhere probably Akabane.
