As an actual vox fan who was membered to him since day 1 until this month, what bothers me most is the backpedaling/bitterness towards fans lately. I'd pull up any clip or stream and it's "vox needs to have a serious talk" "it's time to talk about not being so parasocial (amazing, brave, only the 50th time he's brought it up with all the western commenters supporting him and calling out those le evil parasocials, what an original and refreshing take from vox, literally never heard a vtuber say "parasocial bad" before) or him just lecturing his fans again for the umpteenth time. Yeah there are actual genuine bad actors out there for sure but I'm just sick of it already. And I wasn't bothered by him deleting the NSFW ASMR esp given that he's breaking community guidelines, but I was bothered by the stream afterwards where he basically pushed the blame for that onto his fans and whined about how he felt like a coin slot machine (by pandering to girls, literally his own choice that nobody forced him to make) and how he's so free now that he finally doesn't have to be enslaved to his content or superchats anymore.
I'm just sick of hearing "wow super important talk time" lectures all the freaking time now. All these vtubers who used to have fun and show genuine gratitude and appreciation for their fans and the people who donated tons and tons of money to them are burned out and spiteful now because of the crazy psychos and it's not even fun to be casually involved anymore.
