Social media which is closer to normal conversations but with less consequences, turned everything into the same shitty banter soup. Autistic discussion about hobbies got replaced, by means of normification, with social-based discussion about other people instead. Content, topics, hobbies became mere stages, battlegrounds, scenarios were the same fucking shit unfolds, over and over again, forever. Now the cat is out of the box so there's nothing to be done.
