>>60188691"CouncilRyS" was always a goofy, pieced-together name. Not bad, per se, but it doesn't match the professional, one-short-word naming convention of the EN generations (i.e. Myth, Council, Promise, Advent).
-Promise- aims to:
>officially recognize the 5 not only as a unit, but more significantly as a group/gen>respectfully move on from Sana while giving subtle nods to her being a part of EN Gen 2(large star at the top of the -Promise- logo + space setting for the 3D Showcase)
>be a departure from -Council--Council- carries the stigma of being underwhelming and disappointing from its first year. -Promise- is a new saga for these 5, now that they've grown and are more well-liked. BaeRyS being officially together in the same gen is a nice boost to cohesion as well.
>better reflect the group's relation to viewersBae's reputation has grown since finally getting to do 3D performances + dropping an album, and she pledges to keep working hard. Fauna has her Saplings to provide for. IRyS has her Goslings, and she had an IRyStocrat ring for her 2nd anni merch. Kronii of course has her thirsty Kronies (and the male collabs have stopped l0l). Hoomans love how sweet Mumei is. "Promise" works pretty well for how these 5 are seen, whereas nobody liked how lore-heavy "Council" & "Project: Hope" were.
