literally the whole point of magical girls is that they represent absolute femininity but existing for it's own sake as an inspiration to girls; like Barbie if she was also simultaneously superman
the males in mahou shoujo shows are and have always been, or are at least supposed to be, fuucking window dressing and minor side characters and nothing more
there's a reason why the male characters are just advice giving mentors/NPCs like tuxedo mask or just cutesy mascots like kero (or outright villains like Kyubey)
IRyS demanding there should be more romance and heterosexual relationships and more males is literally anathema to the genre and against the very soul of what it is, it completely misses the entire fucking point
