maybe she did try. I dont know, I can only judge what I can see and yea, actions that I can see. What I'm seeing doesn't paint a pretty picture. What I can see is that she is absent for long periods, and she refuses to explain why, or even give a heads up or updates It just speaks to a lack of respect and connection with her viewers. That's her prerogative, but I think supporting that is not a good thing from a fan perspective, it just feels like its pissing on the support given.
And hey, that is a negative of Gura as of now, and I still like her streams, but I don't feel like supporting her through merch purchases or membership anymore. I'll definitely watch, but she's just free entertainment now until she cleans herself up or becomes more forthcoming if its a serious issue. If it is a serious issue, that's still no excuse for not giving a heads up or anything, yes even depression is not an excuse, just an explanation.

I already do other things in the meantime don't see why I would have to make a declaration of quitting when I could just do normal shit and enjoy her next stream whenever that may be, wouldn't blame someone for pausing membership until the next members stream though.

She either wants to quit or take an official break like Haachama did. The latter probably would weigh on her conscience a lot though. It would be constant thoughts of "I'd have to come back evetually, but what if I don't want to?". You could argue these long periods of silence are no different, but she'd have no urgent obligation to come back sooner or later if it were made "Official".
You can see a similar situation with Ame, but not to the extent as Gura I guess. They just seem burnt out and they're eventually going to reach a point where they either; continue like this and hope they get better or pull the plug and quit.
tldr: she's depressed and unmotivated, but can't decide on what to do with her chuuba career.

I think the funniest part is that when she comes back and streams more than once, Chumbud's superiority complex kicks right back in. They get real fucking yappy about the return of the queen and how everyone should bow. I love watching the cold realization that she is not, in fact, back when she fucks off leaving them back in the limbo where they belong.
