>>6049832Anon.. most teamates are chumbuds/takos now.
Remember the old /hlgg/? Yes, the one on /jp/? That general was DOMINATED by Teamates, at a ratio of probably 70:30. It was fucking huge. We even made "memes" about how the other fanbases couldn't get shit in when Ame had her karaokes, because it was nothing but Gosling and Gosling ASCII spam.
Nowadays, however, teamates barely, barely outnumber the second biggest faction, the chumbuddies. It's honestly a lot closer than you expect. Many recent oshi poals + Ame vs. Gura poals (inb4 poal proof, stfu) have Ame and Gura neck-and-neck with each other in terms of their popularity here.
Note, also, that takos, who were once made fun of in /jp/hlgg/ as being the fanbase that never talked about their oshi and seemingly didn't exist, is now by far the third most popular fanbase on /vt/hlgg/. Tako threads are now active and lively.
Teamate threads, however, have been on the decline. Ame karaokes still generate buzz, but it's no longer a complete domination of Goslings to every other sane post. It's no longer like BR2049, where it was nothing but teamates. Nowadays, even when Ame is the only member live, there's a lot of other discourse.
And that tells you ONE thing. And that is that most teamates have recognized their oshi's shortcomings and have moved on. I, personally, was a teamate in September, all the way up to the new year, but after her NYE stream when she began to break all her resolutions, I switched to Gura. Never been happier.
