the thing that didn't surprise me but would surprise most of /#/ is how it's impossible for merch to dwarf her SC income without the numbers of that conversation drastically
In fact if merch was even ONLY a solid 2 grand more, decimal places start getting added, so realistically what this conversation tells me is that despite getting frequent visibility on corpo events, even her merch sales pale in comparison to SC during a month where she earns SC totals that you get if you are a holo who seems to do ガチ恋営業/コーン売り/being Towa or Suisei(but merch instead of SC). Logically speaking her earnings must be the factor of ten one lower than Matsuris 8k-9k unless we just assume everything is bullshit so...
Yeah, really the only possible assumption to make is that she earned less than 1k. Let's be generous and assume the higher end of 100-999, but even the highest estimate is still awful. Matsuri normally pulling ~2.5kish also still fits since she is simply used to income being some single digit multiple of 1000 on average, so seeing Laplus be in the state of earning hundreds instead of thousands fits perfectly with the reaction of missing a decimal place
Don't forget that taxes are coming, too

Matsuri got to be a high earner this month so don't use her income here as a good indicator of the lower earners usual.
Laplus is effectively earning a bit under half of what Matsuris usual is
I feel like a single month is a poor sample size too since my gut says variance for sure occurs month to month. Therefore, in my opinion, based specifically on this as evidence, I don't feel it's strong enough to make claims about Twitch(YET).
On a personal level though, I hope Twitch becomes a person just so that it then kills itself. Seriously man, fuck Twitch.
