It can be done in a way that's still respectful to the audience, especially if the Vtuber is considerate of the feelings of their gachikoi when bringing it up or the underlying sentiment is that they're far happier being with their fans now than they were in the past
The issue is that a lot of people in the West are extremely insecure and hold sex up on a pedestal, so a lot of the time, these stories just become attempts at humblebragging or relying excessively on shock humour.
Your audience is primarily either single people or people who have never dated. There's no reason to alienate these people for no reason
