Cover does fund corpo-mandated songs of course (given that they're also the ones, you know, mandating them), but anything else the girls CHOOSE to do on their own whim is also their own responsibility. If they don't like it and don't want to do personal music if they aren't getting it for free and actually have to pay for it themselves, they can just... not do personal music, no one's forcing them to either.
