For a good few months, it seemed that the Holostars curse was finally broken. Tempus was successful, exponentially more so than the stars brand had ever seen before. With the chemistry between the group and fun skit streams like Judge Magni that combined classic Youtube content with the goofy technology of vtubing, there was finally a group of male vtubers that could appeal to a general content creator audience in the EN sphere. The future looked bright.
But fate was not so kind. So many things had to go wrong to bring Tempus down to (and in some ways worse) the level of their JP counterparts, and yet it all happened. Magni's accident, consistent management fuck ups, fanbase warring that got to the talents, dwindling mental states of several members, fast tracking the second generation, etc, culminating in Cover's first ever double graduation after a more than a month of mystery and worry.
The brand is back to being as cursed as ever, with some truly deserving members like Bettel likely never reaching their full potential because of how poisonous it is. Perhaps a magical gen 3 can fix things assuming it can win out against the curse that killed StarsJP's gen 3 (Kaoru would be a 500k+ subbed channel by now if he stayed), but I doubt it.
