I'm not a big fan of the Japanese degeneracy, but I put up with it because there's stuff adjacent to it that I do actually like. I do the same for example with Black Metal, I don't like all the satanist and pagan stuff, but I like the actual music enough to put up with the genres associations, although I do still make a conscious effort to only listen to secular or Christian BM
