Even the prerecorded stuff where they use the best singing takes and record dancing with lip syncing separately ALREADY requires a ton of practice especially if it's a group song. Singing AND dancing live is outright impossible for regular people if they aren't real life idols who are used to this. You get either shit singing, shit dancing or you need days and days of practice which would make them to give up streaming completely. Maybe one completely live performance in a year is doable for a normal person but they have anniversaries, birthdays, guest appearances, Holofes and Holosummer. Did you ever notice how the only holos known for singing live don't do idol choreography at all (Suisei, Towa, Azki - all just standing there or walking around the stage and singing) or do some simple improvised moves instead of pre-learned choreo (Sora, Nene)?
Still seems amazing to me that NePoLaBo went live for at least a couple of first songs. They sounded bad and choreo was so-so but the effort is admirable.

Do you know what happens if everyone practices a dance to perfection by themselves and then they have a final try all together? Let's just hope no one will get injured from bumping, kek. But I assure you it will 200% look like shit with people standing all over the place instead of a nice formation and everyone doing the same moves but horribly out of sync and they still end up looking vastly different.
