Fauna is actually good at games and tries to understand the underpinning mechanics and how different parts of the game interact with each other to produce synergy. Kiara does none of that and can't seem to understand very basic game mechanics.

Kiara made a blunder where her army got wiped out because she moved them into a corner and got squished by elephants (150 pop down to 75) and never recovered past 120. Fauna was at 125 pop and steadily grew up to 160 when she attacked Kiara. Also accidently sent a hero scout cavalry that killed 10 out of 50 of Kiara's peasants.

I think all the girls are still overwhelmed by having to juggle so much at the same time, and none of them know much about unit counters. At one point Fauna accidently sent her elephants parading past Kiara's army and back without attacking. Fauna seems to have better unit and minimap control from her dota experience though.

Kiara is at that point where she's trying to learn the "strats" but hasn't mastered the basics well enough yet so she gets stomped by beginners.

It's like when in fighting games you feel like you've peaked with your skill level as a button masher so you start to try and learn how to play it right but then there's a phase where you feel like you've actually gotten worse at the game and start losing to the button mashers you had no trouble beating before.

She definitely has more practice than Fauna, but she's prone to panicking and making rash decisions. Fauna also has better fundamentals due to her DOTA roots.
You have to consider that while Fauna got lucky that Kronii fucked up by painting a target on her own back, Fauna also had to hardcarry Anya. Reine was a significantly more useful team mate.

Elephantos are a great unit for this kind of setting because once they reach a critical mass you just can't stop them. I've played FFA games where people let the Persian player get to 160+ elephants and even two post imp goth players spamming hundreds of halbs out of 20+ barracks each can't do shit against that many elephants.
You need about 2000 halbs to kill 160 elephants but due to population limits you're forced to send them 200 at a time which actually turns it into over 10000 halbs.

The answer is to just not let that happen, the unit is the most expensive in the game and is only built out of the most expensive military building and is slow as balls so it can't get anywhere in a timely matter, Those are enough to make the unit unusable in 99% of situations normally. In fact it's getting buffed in a few weeks.
If you let your opponent get that many elephants you deserve whatever happens to you. If you try kiting it the elephants will just say fuck it and attack your buildings instead and will raze your base before your peashooters can stop them.
Especially after the upcoming buff that gives them +30 damage vs buildings.

She had a good understanding of the basic game mechanics, even though she hadn't played it in 20+ years, which set her apart from most of the others. She was great at gathering resources which allowed her to tech up fast. Kronii's good too but she blew all her resources trying to build a Wonder which made her the primary target.
The impressive thing is that her teammate (Anya) was by far the worst of the 6 and they still managed to come out with a win. When Fauna made it to Tech 4, Anya was still in Tech 1!

It's interesting that moona had a relatively strong military early on but fell behind. Kronii was weak until she had to build troops to defend her wonder. Kiara tried to go blitzkrieg on everyone else and then got bodied by Fauna's Vegan Soviet Union. Reine was also a contender, but never amounted to shit. Anya just rode that wave to the end.
