i agree that making it public was a bad move, but it takes understanding how Delutaya works to know why she did it
because of the discord server, there's a lot of interaction between the English and Japanese Delumin, so, when the 5ch drama happened, it was noticed by a mix of both sides. Delutaya has a pretty open DM policy, so, as the Fanbox post indicated, she received multiple messages of concern about the situation.
Based on the wording, the Fanbox post was meant to try to give clarification about the situation to bury the rumors before they could escalate. unfortunately, it backfired on her since she essentially put a spotlight on it.
i think you're also spot on about the pressure bit, which is why Delutaya specifically stated that she wouldnt be making any more posts about the situation (which she didnt).
the post had two objectives: stifle the rumors (which backfired) and pressure mikeneko to give her the video evidence (the conclusion of which will probably remain behind closed doors).
