>>61121920Specifically for NijiEN, it's a combination of losing the image of "being a group of old friends bantering and playing games together" and having all the downsides of being a JP corpo. The first one is affected by their dramas, new debuts (can someone really be meaningful friends with so many different people?), and terminations/graduations. It's also affected by indies being around for so long. It's been like 2-3 years right? There are better and more contained vtuber group of friends if that's your thing. The second is about perms and corporate expectations. NijiEN seems to get a lot of their content ideas from Twitch streamers. That really sucks because of JP perms and management autism. In addition, NijiEN will have to train their audience to like that type of content in a stream format. Unless the viewers are all from Twitch, the YouTube audience is going to be familiar with that content through edited YouTube videos. There can be a lot of downtime especially if the vtubers can't be as unfiltered and inexperienced as the Twitch streamers, which can cause problems due to expectations not matching reality. I do hope the talents figure something out that they enjoy doing and are allowed to do, either with AnyColor or somewhere else.
