i think this is the right answer, i believe that in the beginin of the en explosion some of the jp holo felt bad about their own growth, however once they come to realized: that the closest girl to gura (mori) grew only at half the speed, that other en agencies didn't get the same growth, and that all hololive was growing faster (and more holo jp started to pass the 1 million mark), it must become pretty obvious to the rest of hololive that gura was on a league of her own, at least in sub count, so they can focus in their own stuff.
