Unrelated, but: once I made a mod that adds face masks to NPCs in game. This was the most amount of kys comments I got in my life. They acted as if I were responsible for the whole pandemic and lockdowns. Presumably I couldn't add a fucking protection device people are legally required to wear because somebody who's relative recently died from covid will return from work wearing mask, seeing people around wearing masks, search for mods for the game to relax and will either die from heart attack or commit sudoku because he saw the mask on NPC and this was just too much to handle. Plus conspiracy schizos came in, this was quite a shitshow. They'd try to cancel me if they could, but it was enough for me to loose faith in humanity and motivation to create anything.
