The Amecord is run by overzealous mods, twitter is a cesspit, tumblr... well, it's tumblr, and of course chat is retarded. The reason none of us leave our hole here is cuz it's the only place we can be ourselves. Everywhere else is too sanitized or otherwise too different in culture to actually appreciate.
But still, it kinda stinks that none of us can really get to know each other on a more personal level cuz of the anonymity on 4chan. I genuinely do like making closer online friends, it's just hard when the only places to do so come out of vastly different cultures from our own.
