>>6150705>>6150837Gura has worked really hard for this. It was obvious to everyone who watches her, and I saw that since the moment I started to watch her. It was amazing to see the dissonance between what I saw and how the antis on the board would troll with the old "she's lazy" posts and similar. In other words, she had a stellar month or so where her effort was rewarded - from her birthday stream* to Reflect to hitting 3M to getting merch, it all reassured her and gave her a boost in self-respect. She earned her success, she really did.
*one Anon compiled a chart of who donated and how much and I was oddly pleased by the fact I am the only person in my country who gave her a SC. There's maybe like five people who are into this in the whole country. I only wish I could give her more, but I had expenses like a new laptop and bike, and my currency is weak as shit compared to the USD and EUR. Speaking of which we'll switch to EUR by the end of 2023. That will be the fourth official currency I will use domestically. Historical and geopolitical reasons. 500HRK is essentially my monthly bills - electricity, water, garbage collecting, internet + phone. But it's nothing when translated into USD to EUR, which kinda hurts me emotionally in this case. 500HRK is a neat sum for me, but nothing to her. I wish I could support her more, but more would put me into levels of absurdity which would destroy my carefully managed finances. Damned if you do damned if you don't situation. It pisses me off that I don't have an effective way to show her my appreciation.
