She definitely leans harder into being fully bilingual and also local as a boon like Meloco, but it doesn't really come at the cost of EN content. Most of her streams are either in English or a Pikamee-style self-translation.

But yes, getting into NijiJP is absolutely fucked right now and in hindsight Koto and Melo played their cards perfectly.

Kotoka started off weak but has really taken off due to JP clipfags noticing she's really funny. Clips of her subbed in Japanese get a lot of views. EN viewers didn't give her a chance because she isn't a male, so I'm glad she's doing well these days.

That's not really hard since they actively started going for more JP audience. There are multiple 3 view security cameras of empty streets if you just search 配信 on YouTube right now. There is a whole lot less competition.

You can get NijiEN numbers in Japan by broadcasting an empty street.
