Just treat the vtuber thing like a gimmick and give your fans what they really want: your real face. Face reveals get millions of views. It's easy clout. You could even milk it by doing it in parts: start with a hand or feet reveal and then work your way up to the face as the big finale. You don't even have to get rid of your vtuber avatar. It's just basically your channel's mascot. Vtubers are just streamers with anime avatars anyway. Just cut the anime avatar from time to time and then bam, instant variety.
