The Vshoujo thread isn't just a general. containment within containment (vt) within containment (JP) within containment (a/v) within containment (4chan). It took five layers of 4chan brand titanium to contain them. They're cancerous, degenerate and arguably regressive, dragging down discourse to sex jokes, innuendo and socializing with influential ecelebs. Coco would be right at home if she wants to kick reason to the curb and be edgy as fuck, but that's a different style of vtubing than being an idol, or even just a positive influence on people's lives. It's cynical and irreverent to an absolute fault, drowning in the darkness of its own irony. In a way, it's kind of self destructive in a completely unfunny way.
Call me a holobrony, but I watch vtubers to see cute funny hijinks. I don't want preaching or cooming. I want slightly classy entertainment that still has a bit of an unpolished edge to it, aspirational but not pretentious, accessible but not simplistic.
