>>62413716An autism diagnosis, at least for high-functioning adult (read: is capable of speaking and doesn't have any other symptoms that would have got them put into a special ed track before that point, which is already like 10% of total autism diagnoses but for obvious reasons are overrepresented in public life) is just a quick questionnaire and most psychiatrists will do absolutely no follow-through except maybe giving you something for anxiety and suggesting you look for a therapist. I would be surprised if none of them were on the spectrum
