That said, I do agree that Mel is a mediocre streamer; she still works it like its 2018 and that Gen3 and Coco haven't completely revolutionized the Vtubing world.
Mel's strengths rarely come to light on her Hololive persona so to truly see what she is capable of and how talented she is, you need to see her roommate. Keep in mind, when Mel joined Hololive and folks had started figuring out who they were at the time, everyone was shocked that Cover had landed such a big star such as Mel and she was considered the most promising of the 7 Hololivers at the time. Unfortunately her treating it as a sidegig, how much Vtubing has changed in 3 years and her inability to improve with regards to being a mediocre streamer have dulled that initiate brilliant shine.
