Her lore was all about the conflict between being true to herself (Beatani) and functioning in society (Chihiro). If reality is unsavory, then she wants to turn reality on its head. "Rocks are fake chocolate rocks."
To become Chihiro she would have to erase Beatani, and I guess she more or less did that. But not completely, because we still remember Beatani. That she left the channel alone instead of deleting it is telling.
Then again she is Japanese so she'll probably kys herself to become a slave to society. What a shame.
