There's a significant number of fans (enough that she felt compelled to address this in a recent stream) who don't believe her anymore, and think she's just lazy and unmotivated and streams when she needs cash before she vanishes into the ether again. Envy is driving a significant portion of this, since she can get cash from her members by essentially doing nothing.
The image Cover tries to portray of the company as one big, happy family is detrimental to someone like her because Holo fans feel like she is letting the "family" down when she doesn't work or stream or show up when someone like Coco graduates.
I don't really care because I don't watch her (especially since she never streams anything to watch anymore). Ultimately, Hololive is her job and it's not her "family" and she shouldn't have to make friends and bust her ass if she doesn't want to and is making sufficient money to live.
