Do you know why Hololive is so successful?
It sure as hell isn't their live 2D tech. Some of them are good but many still suck shit. And the best of them aren't the best of the industry.
It's not their 3D tech either. Kizuna Ai and many Niji's have mogged them in that department forever. And again, it's hit or miss depending on the Holo.
It's not their music, I fucking love Suisei and a ton of Hololive originals are earworms for sure, but they aren't the only ones putting out music.
The thing that Hololive has that so far, no other group has been able to replicate, is that feeling of community. The Holos for the most part, seem to actually like and rely on each other. They cheer each other on. They lift each other up. That makes for ton of "tee-tee" moments which is a refreshing change from the cutthroat industry that is vtubing. Kanata and other Holos have been hit with the label "leech" when they collab with the more successful Holos and EVERY FUCKING TIME that shit has been slapped down, often by the Holo themselves. That's why Hololive is successful, it provides a supportive family for lonely people to watch and enjoy. So yes they should collab more often seeing as how that's the brand's strength. And it's good for the girls too because they support each other in ways that management sure as hell doesn't.
