Chat interaction is a plague that has ruined live-streaming. Some interaction is okay, but most vtubers take it way too far. Streaming shouldn't be treated like a daily Discord call with your friends. Streamers should only go live when they have a performance to show the world.

I applaud Gura for taking the vtuber genre a step in the right direction. She knows that the more she interacts with her fans, the more parasocial things will get. Limiting interactions in all forms of social media should be something that all vtubers do. Vtubers are performers, not your friends or girlfriends. Every stream should be treated like a live concert.
