They are all top tier speedrunners, top tier players in pvp game, top tier raider in MMO, or they had a very successful youtube channel that showed off their talent. The less skilled the male streamer is at games the better he looks a lot of the time, which makes up for his lack of skill by being sexy and entertaining.
There is no such thing as a male streamer who got big without either being very good at something or through being a hot, entertaining TV show kinda guy.
Vtubing has less competition and allows you to hide your ugly face, letting people focus on just the entertainment value. The problem is that anime fanboys just want to jerk off to hentai of their favorite vtuber so male vtubers get looked over more than they should. Vtuber fans aren't looking for funny, entertaining streamers. They just want to jerk off.
