I don't know if it was because she wanted a relationship with him or because they already had one, or if they had a largely physical relationship (with some gaming) and she wanted more. So she thought if she had a message from him pop up on screen mid-stream and let people screencap it he'd have to admit that they're together or at least seeing each other, making it "official" in a sense.
It sounds schizo but for those who know just how menhera she is it's not that implausible.
