Why the latest Niji vtubers did not live up to the hype? I think they're interesting enough, but somehow people don't bother to watch them at all.

their own debut trailer had their audio fucked which means they only had about 3 days to actually market themselves to people before their debut. they also had no debut songs, no identity and no group name (they made one up themselves called 'TTT' but no one knows what that even is). they had no hype to begin with and i sorta see that as more niji's fault then theirs, they just kinda had to sink or swim and well...

vtuber market is oversaturated and that is especially true for the Nijisanji sphere. They don't have the draw to pull in new viewers so at best they only end up cannibalising their own viewership.
Also: there was no hype. Niji in general doesn't generate any traction outside of their already established demographic.

It's not like there was much hype to begin with. Anycolor just dropped them out of the blue with little fanfare, didn't even give them an original song when they didn't seem to have anywhere near the same issues Krisis had.
Really they're all safe talents, which is good, but considering the extremely rocky year NijiEN had it wasn't going to do gangbusters either. Also didn't help that in the debut trailer, Victoria had what sounded like an Xbox 360 mic.

They had like 3 days of anticipation and their reveal trailer had some terrible audio. If anything I'd say their whole "Superhero" line has not lived up to the hype.
