People who watched vtubers became vtubers.
Instead of forming a cult like following in the west Holo viewers took initiative to they themselves become vtubers. Add to this that holo performers rarely acted like voice actors to an anime character, and instead acted like a internet celebrity, and nobody outside of the tabloid mob wants to follow, and believe me there's better celebrities for gossipers to follow than some online geeks with a virtual face mask.

Well thats partially what I meant, the only ones really doing much right now are Kiara and Mori who have ambitions beyond being streamers, but evidently even Kiara struggles to get shit off the ground. The ones who don’t have Kiara’s drive certainly aren’t jumping through all the hoops when they can just play vidya and farm infinite money.

The love for Myth was always situated mostly in the Trinity, but then Ame fell off, Gura extremely fell off, and Ina temproraly fell off. So althogh Ina dragged herself back out of the 2022 dark valley, 2 out of 3 most beloved members remain in weird state so the spark for myth is lost.

Notice how kinda same thing happened to Council, with Kronii and Sana falling off, however since the most love for them is situated in Fauna and Mumei, they werent hit as hard - especially since they now also have IRyS.

Ina, Ame, and Gura completely checked out. I don't really understand why Kiara is where she is. She's everything you lot ask for, especially the avoiding males and yet nobody wants to watch her. Mori is doing amazing for herself. All her hard work has paid off

Because some people don't like the needy girl, her original voice post-Austria move made a lot of people want to not watch because she pitched it too high, she caused a lot of seethe here with her interests in media, she reminds guys of the stacy memes when she's just an autist retard, she streams at terrible times for people who would consume EN content, and her 'woe is me' feeling she had when she was at her lowest point mentally (right after moving back to Austria) turned a ton of people away. There was always a chunk of anti's shitting up the board here, but she started to take a real hit when she moved back to Austria.
