Both her and Purin came back for a period because something happened behind the scenes to delay the debut so they felt like streaming a little.
What that was is still a bit of a mystery, assumed to be trying to fill a new manager roll for them after something else fell through.
Meru unrolling her Meru persona aligns so perfectly with the new debut it seems way too likely. Not guaranteed, since this was decided ages ago by her.
But the delay just aligning up for her ending her vtuber persona aligning THAT WELL with Gen3 is just way too sus.
