Those voice-overs that play in konbini and narrating shows at an aquarium or appearing in games aren’t made from snippets from their streams. Since JP business culture moves at a glacial pace, the meetings leading up to spending time in an audio studio consume a lot of time. And here’s the shit that grinds peoples’ gears unfairly. If you have to do some paid VA work for a sponsor, straining your voice the week leading up to it is not encouraged. Management would prefer you didn’t stream and nailed the paid VA shit. And then there’s the internal meetings. Streams have ended abruptly because of “oh shit I forgot I had a meeting”. And that’s to discuss the agenda for the next meeting. Finally dance lessons, vocal lessons, JP lessons.
