However, to your point if we assume it to be true, what I will say that charisma is something that can be worked on straightforwardly. The downside is that it requires putting yourself in awkward situations. For instance, public speaking as a skill only gets better if you speak in public more., but especially early on, you'll get clammy hands, shaking knees, queasy, whatever.
Attractiveness can also generally be worked on to an extent too-- for instance, fashion choices, weight loss (if needed), working out, taking care of yourself, etc.. There are things you can't change, like height or face-shape, but that doesn't have to stop you from self-improvement in other ways. The hard part is finding motivation for it all, but you really do have options for self-improvement, and I find that motivating in and of itself.
I'm not saying it's easy, because it's quite the opposite, but I am saying there are paths forward you can take to improve yourself likely to the point you'd want. You just need to persevere anon.
