I can personally testify that no, there's many people who absolutely DO get that shit faced over one or two beers. I used to hang out with a college friend who couldn't legit tolerate more than one and a half glass of beer. One cocktail was enough to make him completely ko for a whole night.
There's many people who somehow cannot hold even the smallest amount of alcohol. I dunno if it is because of liver structure or their metabolism, or something else.
