Every once in a while when thinking about chuubas I get a sort of feeling that "Shit, something is about to go down"

like a sort of yab sense or some shit, any of y'all have this? I got this feeling back when Coco gradutated, and when Rushia got terminated, and just recently too (Pic related)

Have any of you had any pregog for yabs or am I just terminally online and can read this shit like it's in bold letters?

There will be no new big corpo yabs for atleast the next month or so. Indie yabs happen so often they all just sort of blend together.

The next big yab won't be seen until next february. This is my prediction.

This year without fail every girl I get close to calling my Oshi either quit or went menhera. Even if they come back they're completely different or not vtubing anymore so I try not to get attached anymore before something bad happens again.

Same here. Watched Gura, she stopped giving a fuck. Watched Ame, she stopped giving a fuck. Watched Coco, she graduated out of the corp she was good in. At that point I said fuck it and started branching out, watching chuubas from random YT recommendations. The two I caught? Oceane and Riifu.
I don't think it's bad luck, I think it's a problem with vtubers.

They all either graduate of some form within a small time frame of them becoming my oshi. Now I just support indies because atleast I know they will either join a good corpo and become better and won't do lazy ass content like Kson.

Riifu was my intoduction into small corpos and indies so her leaving kinda pushed me into looking deeper for more passionate girls who love their community and what they do. I still watch new debut's from time to time to see if theres someone like her and I'm glad I waited and found a few.

I think at some point this year corpos kinda killed my love for this hobby with all the dumb management shit from every company stopping someone from doing what they wanna do and stupid poeple joining corpos with no idea what thier doing only for it to blow up in their face. 2views who are vtuber fans themselves and liggers who've been streaming for years just playing weird games or collabing with their friends and not "company mandated partner group" really brought me back because they feel like they're not streaming because they have too but because they want to. Not saying all corpo's are bad but a lot of problems I have slip away with indies and now looking for someone to watch usually has more to do with their streaming content than what they could be a part of with their company, if they even care about it.

Indies are kind of a double-edged sword in my opinion because there's a lot less pressure on them to act professionally. Most of the ones I follow are able to keep their cool but you also get a lot of vtweeters who just whine about politics and get into constant drama

well, there is a few flags that can help you to filter a good chunk of bad vcunts; they seem to be less than 30, throne links, active on twitter (they post more than just streaming warnings), not active on discord, regular collabs (with men or woman, doesnt matter) and dont mod themselves even when they are still 1-2 view.
