When I get my license I spent months practicing, studying the rules of the road, watching youtubes to get tips, learning skills like parallel parking, etc. They had me take a left turn, a right turn, do a three-point-turn, and then reverse for what felt like 30 seconds, then go back to the DMV and park. What a joke.
