quality of the streamer aside, you basically lose the entire purpose of vtubing when you get to larger numbers.
Streamers are amateur content creators, but the appeal is that they're 'one of us' and we can chat with them and be their 'friend'. With smaller streams the streamer gets to know their regulars and is basically the center of a community, but at the same time they're a member of the community that chats with and banters with their members.
Korone and Pekora don't know who the fuck you are and never will. Gura isn't going to remember 3 million people, its not reasonable.
What's the point of watching a stream where the streamer will never reply to you or recognize your existence? At that point they're just a glorified podcast or shitty movie, which why not just watch an actually well planned out podcast where people actually have something decent to talk about.
