How I see it is, a lot of her streams really feels like you're just hanging out with someone.
Yesterday was fucking divine. Three streams, a wonderful ukulele jam by the beach with the waves crashing, another SC reading where she just chats, the absurd but adorable Minecraft break, and the completely chaotic bus game.
She's not like, pretending to be or acting like your girlfriend, but she's just a lovable little goofball that is just doing her thing, being cute, enjoying your company, and that's what makes it feel all the more special. That's why I'm basically in love with her.
It also makes her bants with the chat feel so fun. She's messing with you, but you know it's in good spirits.
And as you said, that also makes some stuff she does feel all the more heartwarming, like the ASMR stuff or those affectionate end screen messages, or the chu~s.
So basically she's not playing up the GF stuff, she's just being herself, and for that, I and a lot of other teamates, investigators, Goslings, we're all kind of very smitten with her.
