But it's a common part of vtuber kayfabe to act as if the vtuber was close to the viewers. Fubuki calling her viewers friends is as truthful as her saying that she is a fox, or that she has a sister called Kurokami; it's part of the shared fantasy that she and her viewers engage in and enjoy together.
