only to you, I dealt with a korean exchange student who was temporary enough to be mostly talking through phone translation and he eventually trusted me enough to ask for help in identifying the ages of various white people who he had been dealing with. he also found the differing bodily destiny/shape of boomers who did and did not exercise to be kind of mindblowing. so I'm pretty sure the difficulty is both ways and concerning a lot of things, they just play it cooler than we do.

i think there was a study about how it was difficult initially to distinguish and remember the faces of a group of people from an ethnicity you dont come into contact with often. it took some weeks or months to adapt. exchange students will have to face this twice, once when they arrive and again when they return home.

well, they basically feed the ai with a bunch of data, shit load of em, then the ai with its advanced algorithm, be it probabilistic based, vector based, or even neural network black magic shit, will recognize a pattern in the data and use it to create the 'model' it will use to solve given problem within its specs.
in this case the alg recognize that we, based on the data given, like young looking women with childlike appearance.
