The reason Takamori has been reclining is because Kiara told Mori on their vacation about her and Ame, hence Mori lashing out during the full gen collab. Mori pretended to be dead during the earthquake for as long as she could, to try and get back at Kiara, but her peanut brain forgot she was pretending, and accidentally started talking about Shrek.
