Not to defend Kyo who is definitely the worst cancer, but Iluna was a massive flop from the start and the debut reactions were almost entirely negative outside of consoomer circlejerks.
Also reminder that Millie called them Iluflop in her /vt/ "parody" stream yet that term had never ONCE been used in /vt/ before then (confirmed by archives) meaning she invented it.

Yes, some of the talents are idiots but it's part of management's job to pick the right candidates and direct them. Their failure to do so means NijiEN's decline was only a matter of time. Enna, luxiem and Kyo destroyed the branch.
Enna ruined pre-luxiem CGDCT.
Luxiem turned the branch into nijiChina, and everyone lost most of those viewers when the luxiem yabs happened.

A variety of things, for me personally it was

It’s not even that I disliked the males, Ike, Shu and Mysta were great additions to EN, but the whole dynamic became completely fucked suddenly. All of that combined with the bad faith generated by the company (cancelling the LIVE due to “Corona”, the whole Zeta situation, etc.) just scared off most people I think.
