Adults shouldn't be mixing with kids at all. All-age websites create multiple inconveniences for both parties, the same goes for movies and games. I always find it odd when I'm talking to a person and I suspect they're retarded, but then I find out they're just a minor. When the media content is aimed at an all-age audience, it's exactly the same feeling.
So the best way out is to completely separate the two groups by age. Create a separate site for kids, or better yet, a separate Internet, and leave the enforcement entirely to the parents. Then we can stop being prudish for the sake of muh kids and start being civilized for the sake of ourselves, the adults.
