Getting as many of them back as possible is the best way forward.
Anti shitposting is inevitable. It's just something she will have to deal with.
None of them matter in the end. None of them will watch her, well, some of them will hate-watch her, but that makes them even sadder than general antis, I'd just laugh at that if anything.
Even blocking them is a waste of time. If her and her chat ignore them, they'll simply get bored. (well, given they aren't shitting up the entire chat with spam)
Mel specifically did not do these things.
In fact, she specifically did things that resulted in a smaller and smaller niche of weird groomers.
She specifically took attention to antis and let that derail her streams.
Mel had a real good chance to grow and it looked like she was doing it, taking it seriously after getting rid of her delusions and desires to enter Nijisanji.
But then for some reason she just fell back in to being retarded again, which was rather sad. She can be highly entertaining when she puts her mind to it, but she finds it easier to not and tends to do that more often.
