I like writing. I know the oversaturation of writers and books -- far more made every year than you could read in a lifetime, be it fiction, non fiction, romance, etc.
I'll continue writing without much hope of success, keeping 99% of all I've wrote private.
But... If my words became in demand, a market for it... You would definetly see more writings from me, and more books under my name, by my death than if there was no demand. I'd claim I like all my books, but reality is the desire for monetary success and compensation inevitably made me write some of those books.
I imagine it's the same for V-tubers. They'd sing, have fun, play games, all with fans, regardless of if they had monetary success. I just think you would also see them be far less active.
