But yeah, this mostly. Shark is just boring mostly and a very reactionary streamer who seems to cycle between baiting their chat and then weakly protesting "nooo, stop being [X] chat"
That and the "I'm gay" jokes (which are also sincere) but utilised as punch lines which are kinda boring after the first time.
The most interesting thing about them is that they seem to be much better at marketing themselves than they are as an entertainer. I wouldn't be surprised consequentially, if they paid for subscribers to help bulk out their youtube channel at debut and give the impression of momentum to provoke algorithmic feed back and increased social media hype.
As an indy they haven't done bad but even excluding that, the money they've clearly dumped into this even up front is something that's simply prohibitive for most others and smacks of some trust fund kid throwing around their savings. (Reflected in the modelling costs/ chara design/ presumably PR and stupid amount of art and super chats they've bought)
