the only sad thing about this is that it's xinjiang that was hit. then again, i don't like muslims.

also, it's kind of funny that just a 5.9 magnitude earthquake killed so many. compare that to the December 2 earthquake (7.6) that hit flipland and only 3 got killed there

It actual hit in Qinghai and Gansu. It hit in the region were Salar and Hui people live, so I guess it still hit muslims.

When it comes to earthquakes, location is the biggest determining factor for casualties. A magnitude 8.0 in the middle of the jungle with only a few hundred people living will have less effect than a magnitude 6.0 in a densely populated megacity
